Our History

40 Years of Excellence

Founded in 1985 by John and Mary Peterson, Precision MFG Co. started as a small job shop with just three employees and a dream. Today, we employ over 75 skilled workers and operate 24 CNC machines in our climate-controlled facility.

Our growth has been built on a simple philosophy: deliver quality parts on time, every time. This commitment has earned us long-term partnerships with leading manufacturers in agriculture, construction, and industrial equipment.

John Peterson

President & CEO

John co-founded Precision MFG Co. in 1985. He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from UW-Madison and has over 40 years of experience in the manufacturing industry.

Sarah Thompson

VP of Operations

Sarah joined Precision MFG Co. in 2005. She earned her Industrial Engineering degree from Michigan Tech and holds a Six Sigma Black Belt certification.

Mike Anderson

Chief Technology Officer

Mike oversees our CNC programming, CAD/CAM operations, and technology investments. He has been with the company for 15 years.
